You’ve seen them, you love them, it’s the Instagram frame! 

Complete with a personalised caption, you can buy these babies online - and they’re a must-have prop for your photo booth. Simply have your party-goers hold up the Instagram frame whilst the photos are snapped and there you have it - a creative twist on a typical party pic. 

Vintage Frames

If you’re really trying to party like it's 1999, you can ditch the digital age and opt for a vintage frame instead.

There are tons of options out there for getting a vintage frame or some vintage props, Amazon being your best bet - isn’t it always? Or you could go on a treasure hunt around your halls or at home to source the perfect frame for your photo booth pics. But if you're taking a picture frame from home, be sure to ask your folks first… Or maybe just take it and make sure it doesn't get damaged - it’s always better to ask for forgiveness than seek permission (but you didn’t hear that from us!) 

Neon Lights & Signs

Neon signs tend to be a bit on the pricey side, but if your loans just dropped - why not splash out? Or, if you’re being sensible, neon fairy lights are student budget-friendly and can create the same result. 

Wooden Pallets

Old wooden pallets aren't what usually comes to mind when you're planning a party but trust us when we say they are perfect for creating your very own personalised photo booth. 

Adding a wooden texture in the background can really elevate your booth and give it an edgy vibe. Plus, they are relatively easy to get your hands on. If not online, then try your local corner shop and check to see if they have any you can borrow for the night.

Whiteboard/Chalkboards

Another super fun idea? A giant chalkboard. Or whiteboard!

Give your party-goers the chance to create their own background and get creative. You could choose a theme for the party and let the guests draw, write, and leave their imprint. Then, once they've taken their photo, it can be rubbed off so the next lot can draw whatever they want.
